Thanks so much for all your support for Winslow Week! You can still grab the Winslow Culottes this week for 15% off! Sale ends Monday, May 22nd. Today I have my favourite pair to show you – the classic culotte length!
You may recognize this version from my Leni Top post. I love high waisted pants with cropped box tops – so cute! For these photos, I have paired them with a self-drafted flowy tank top, tucked in to show off the waistband and pleats.
These Winslows are made from Tencel Twill (available in several colours from Blackbird Fabrics) and are soo beautifully drapey. The tencel twill has such a great weight for this pattern and it looks so chic!
I was afraid that the black colour wouldn’t photograph very well, but it worked out in the end and you can clearly see the pleats. Having a pair in a nice neutral like a black or grey is so great for everyday wear.
Last year it seemed the culotte trend was a bit controversial and people either loved it or hated it. I think this year the trend is getting more RTW exposure and is becoming a bit more widely accepted – what do you think? Have you switched sides?

I really like this classic version. I’m stil hesitant about the culottes trend on my body, but I think your right about it being more on trend in rtw. I’m just not sure I can take of the gathers at the waist. I tend to avoid them, because it makes me look chubby / granny (not a look to like at 35 🙂 )
I feel like I’m too short to pull these off, but I love culottes on other people. You look fantastic in these! This combination is so chic and the culottes drape so perfectly. I really like the long printed version (view D) too!
