Wednesday Weekly #96

Happy Thursday! I’m a little behind this week because we spent the long weekend over on Hornby island. It was a wonderful trip full of snorkeling, lounging, reading and of course, lots and lots of eating. I made a couple of garments to photograph on the island, too, so I look forward to sharing those with you all! Caroline and I are still hard at work on our Top Secret Project, which we will finally be able to share with you very soon!! I can’t wait πŸ™‚

  1. I can’t wait Helen to see what you & Caroline have been up to! Love Caroline’s fabrics (she knows πŸ™‚ ) and I love your patterns as well. I just have such an aversion to PDF patterns I confess. Getting them printed out here in Victoria has been such a total FAIL for me. Island Blueprint who is renown for doing sewing patterns well and reasonably completely messed up my print out. When they agreed they had messed up they tossed me to the bottom of the print heap again which took them another 2 days to complete and they charged me a king’s ransom for it. No better than what Staples had done. Not easy to have patterns printed here I’m afraid. And I’m definitely NOT into printing them off my cpu and pasting them altogether, tracing them out – seriously I just don’t have the time. One day maybe you’ll offer them in a print format? πŸ™‚

  2. These are so inspiring! Thank you very much for sharing and including my ensemble Sounds like your long weekend on Hornby Island was both relaxing and productive. I can’t wait to see your new garments’ pictures!

  3. Hi Helen! Thanks so much for mentioning my Kielo wrap dress. I’m super proud of that one! πŸ˜€ Thinking of giving Noodlehead’s backpack a try — thanks for the inspiration.
