Wednesday Weekly #36

Happy Wednesday, makers!  I am still recovering from the amazing Our Social Fabric sale last weekend here in Vancouver.  It was so crazy!  I got a bunch of new fabrics, mostly knits because I am trying to sew more casual wear. I’ve been organizing and rearranging fabrics (I am running out of room), and finding all sorts of things I had forgotten about.  It is exciting and also daunting to look through one’s stash….better get sewing and make some space!

Indie Sew now has the Glea dress by Whitney Deal available on their site.

Christine Haynes released a new pattern, the Lottie dress.  This looks like an incredibly versatile pattern with a shirt and dress variation and several sleeve options.

Check out this cute free origami needle-holder pattern from Makery.

A truly  inspiring me-made outfit from Handmade Frenzy.

Don’t miss this stunning lace-sleeved shift dress from Anneke Caramin.

Freia’s Fraser sweatshirt is super cute.

I am loving Beth’s fabric scrap undies, I’m gonna make some of these myself!

This Caravan tote from Noodlehead is making me crave some bag-making.

How cool are these rooftop photos from Made by 6?!  Adorable outfit too, of course.

A super cute Inari T-shirt from Anna-Zoe..

This buffalo check Opal cardigan from Love Teach Sew is to die for.

See this pair of amazing high-waisted pants come together on Dessine Moi Un Patron.

This comfy Camas blouse from Stoffige Blog is gorgeous.

I love this Jasper sweater and tights combo from Fadanista.

Mady from The Wardrobe Project made the coolest little jacket you ever did see.

Emerald Erin shows us 3 ways to sew panty elastic, a perfect combo with Beth’s scrap bust above.

In the folds teaches us how to move a dart.

A cute half-moon pouch tutorial from Haberdashery Fun.

Peekaboo pages demonstrates how to dye fabric.

Melly Sews shows us an alternate way to sew a v-neck.

A great shibori dyeing tutorial from True Bias.

A fantastic interview on Cashmerette with Montserrat from Mexican Pink.

I really enjoyed this story of a prom dress from Frivolous At Last.

I swooned for this sleepwear series by Ukrainian based loungewear line, Sleeper.
