Happy Valentines Day! I hope you are all getting lots of love today, be it from your partners, pets, family, or the sewing community. My partner, Sam, is out of town this week so I am flying solo, but I have exciting plans to watch the Bachelor with friends and work on my knitting project. I am making progress on the hat that we are knitting in my class, but I have to say that it is humbling to be a beginner at something! There are SO many mistakes in my first project and it is taking every fibre of my being to resist ripping it out and starting over. I know that I need to leave perfectionism at the door in order to learn, so I am really trying to push on. My next projects will be better and I am finally feeling like I know how to knit!
