Laurie is back on the blog this week to share her most recent make—this gorgeous rayon Reynolds Dress! Laurie is a big fan of Reynolds and this is her third version. Read on to find out more about this project!
Reynolds is such a wonderful summer make because it’s loose without being too loose, it’s breezy while still feeling secure, and it looks great in so many different fabrics. Laurie chose a really pretty rayon crepe from Blackbird Fabrics for this Reynolds. She said the fabric was a bit tricky to cut straight but it was worth it because it is so light and drapey.
Laurie chose to make the longer view of Reynolds with the side slits. It has fabulous movement when she walks and it feels amazing in the summer heat.
One of Laurie’s favourite things about the Reynolds Dress is the wide straps! It makes it easier to style this dress and she feels comfortable and confident in it.
We went out for brunch on this beautiful day together and Sam wore his Jackson Tee and I wore my Lawrence Dress. #MeMadeBrunch!
