It's the beginning of the month and that means it's Seamwork Magazine Time! I love getting this magazine in my inbox, and the patterns that come with it :) This months issue includes two activewear patterns and some great body positive articles to start the new year off right.
Gillian is continuing the Better Pictures Project this month with Katie from What Katie Sews. Katie takes awesome indoor photos, something that I cannot seam to figure out how to do. I look forward to this challenge and learning more from Katie. You can also check out Katie's photoshop editing tips over on her blog this week.

Camille's Elisalex dress by By Hand London is stunning, the silhouette really looks amazing on her.
I became even more obsessed with the Asaka Kimono when I saw Amanda's version. I am curious to know how often this dress gets worn by those who have made it. I'm so tempted to make it but I'm not sure I'd ever wear it, except for around the house. Any insight?

I love the cut and colour of this top over on Blogless Anna. I think relaxed fit tops are going to be my jam in 2016 :)
Debbie's vintage Vogue coat is amazing. I love the cut and dramatic length.
I definitely thought about making a glittery party dress for new years, but I got lazy and ate cookie instead. Luckily Lily made a fantastic one so I can swoon over hers instead.

Welcome back to the Wednesday Weekly, everyone! I took a bit of a hiatus over the holidays, but the weekly is back in full force and I am excited to share some of the amazing first sewing projects of the year with you! Kudos to everyone for all the makes over the Holidays too, I saw some gorgeous party frocks and lovely handmade gifts, not to mention all the awesome 2015 recap posts, I love it.
