Wednesday Weekly #32

The temperature hit 22 degrees celcius in Vancouver last week! That is 71.6 degrees fahrenheit for y'all. I spent last weekend cleaning off my balcony and planting my container garden. I am also in full warm weather sewing mode, finally getting a chance to use all those bright colours and spring florals I picked up over the past 6 months. How are things where you are? Are you still enjoying your winter makes? Are you committing 100% to your rain-boots? Are you also experiencing unusually warm weather? I hope so, it is pretty magical here these days :) Helen's Closet Wednesday Weekly News Blankslate Patterns released the Forsythe Trousers Colette has a brand new pattern called the Selene Skirt. Cashmerette released her third pattern for curvy ladies, the Concord T-shirt. Sewalongs are starting for both the Luna Pants and the Colfax Dress this week! Makes Lauren’s cocoon dress is sooo gorgeous, I am crazy for this effortlessly chic look. I think everyone was blown away by this Camden Cape from Miss Crayola Creepy. A simple yet unique union st. tee from The Doing Things Blog. Gillian’s rag quilt is such a neat idea. Perfect for all those scraps I keep or for recycling old clothes. I love to hear bloggers say that their latest project was outside their comfort zone and they were pleasantly surprised with the results! Check out this Inari Tee Dress from Busy Lizzie in Brizzie. Michelle is on a roll with the Birkins over on That Black Chic! These floral beauties blew my mind and just then I thought things couldn’t get any better, she makes this strawberry version! Ah-mazing. This gorgeous floral kimono from Girls in the Garden is so pretty, I need to make some kimonos, stat! Lindsay's new gingham skirt is perfection.
