Wednesday Weekly #80

Happy Wednesday, makers! It has been a very eventful week so far! The company I work for got acquired this week and our small team of 7 is joining forces with a team of 2000! I am very happy for new opportunities and experiences - big things lie ahead! Soon we will be moving offices and I will have a 'smart casual' dress code. No more yoga pants at work for me! I usually dress very casual at work, so I may be in need of some more business appropriate blouses and trousers now - expect more of that on the blog in the coming months! Indie Sewing News News (clockwise from top left) Indie Sew launched the spring/summer collection with a new pattern from Allie Olsen, the Highlands Wrap Dress (I want to make it so bad!!). Christine Haynes released the Piper Top. True Bias released the Lodo Dress. Itch to Stitch released with the La Paz jacket. Chalk and Notch released the Farrah top and dress. Wardrobe by me released the Blixen blazer, a blazer for knit fabrics! Patterns for pirates released the Favorite Tee. (not shown above) Makes A gorgeous Delphi Dress from Wear the Duckie Tie. As always, I am blown away by the most recent make from A Fool for Fabric. Recreating an entire look is quite an undertaking! Check out this post from Two On Two Off. I am loving this simple Berlin skirt from Clotilde. This Rifle Paper canvas Kelly anorak from Erika Made It is to die for. Is there anything more swoon-worthy than a gorgeous linen? Check out this Seamwork Adelaide dress from Needleswift. This Quart coat from Unchas Unchas is seriously amazing. Bee Made showcases a beautiful me-made outfit. I’m currently obsessing over all things stripes, and this skirt from Sewionista is so cool! Have you tried the new Sorbetto yet? This version from Sweet Shard has me very curious to give it a go! Resources That Black Chic shows us how to add piping to our pockets. Inspiration I am in love with these illustrations by Isabelle Feliu. isabellefeliu19 isabellefeliu16
