Winslow Culottes View B

Like many other Vancouverites, I ride my bike to work. It’s a quick 15 minute ride, and there is an awesome bike route close to my apartment! I ride alongside loads of other cyclists and there is a huge range of cycle style out there. From full spandex body suits to high heeled shoes, anything goes when it comes to biking attire in this city. I like to ride in my work clothes so I don’t have to change when I arrive. Sometimes I change my shoes, but other than that, I like to be ready to go. My upcoming pattern, the Winslow culottes, have become a staple in my work wardrobe, because I can comfortably ride in them! They look polished and professional while still being comfy for commuting and sitting at my desk. Winslow Culottes View B by Helen's Closet Winslow Culottes View B by Helen's Closet This version of the Winslow Culottes is view B and is made from tencel suiting. The fabric has an almost suede-like quality to it, it is really soft and has great drape. If you haven’t sewn with tencel before, you should give it a try! It is one of those truly magic fabrics!
Tencel or lyocell is a sustainable fabric, regenerated from wood pulp. It is similar in hand to rayon and bamboo, both regenerated fabrics. Tencel is one of the most environmentally friendly regenerated fabrics. - EcoMail
