The June Shorts and Pants are that elastic waist design that you can never have enough of in your wardrobe. Choose from classic wide-leg pants or shorts with anchored inseam pockets or get fancy with an overlapping petal short with a bias tape detail. All views feature an optional waist drawstring and a comfortable fit. The June Shorts and Pants are great for everyday wear and for lounging, but they can also be dressed up with fancy fabrics! The pants are cropped but you can easily customize the length of the shorts or pants to suit your personal style preferences. We know you won’t be able to make just one pair!

Pattern Details

Sewing Level: Advanced Beginner

Recommended Fabrics:

Light to medium weight woven fabrics with no stretch. Linen, cotton (lawn, poplin, voile, batiste, seersucker, shirting, chambray, quilting cotton, flannel), hemp, rayon/viscose challis or poplin, and Tencel will work well. Structured fabric will have more dramatic volume and drapier fabrics will have more fluid movement.

2” x 3” (2.5 cm x 7.6 cm) fusible interfacing
Safety pin (to help feed the drawstring through)

This is a print-at-home PDF pattern.
This pattern is designed to print at home on A4 (8.3” x 11.7”) or letter (8.5” X 11”) sized paper. A copyshop file is also provided (A0 – 33.1″ x 46.8″). A comprehensive instruction booklet is included.

Model’s Measurements: Waist (41”), Hips (53”), Height: 5'7”

Size Made: Size 24 waist graded to size 26 hip and back to a 24 leg. Lengthened rise 1".

Fabrics used: Midweight linen (green pants), rayon challis (floral shorts).
