I couldn’t resist doing some Halloween themed sewing this year! I picked up some great printed knits from Thread Count Fabrics (Sun Filled Shades and Sweet n’ Spookier Mr. No Body). I don’t usually go for printed knits but lately I have been drawn to them more and more. It’s nice to have a little fun with your fabric, right? The quality of these knits is excellent. Nice and stretchy with good recovery. Easy to sew, too!

For these tees I used our gender-inclusive Jackson Tee pattern! This is probably one of my most-worn patterns in our collection. I adore the fit of this t-shirt and so does Sam! It feels so comfy and relaxed without being super oversized. This pattern comes with a pullover option, too, so it is good value for money—especially considering how many you will make!

I’m wearing a straight size 16 Jackson

I used a lightning bolt stitch to construct these tees and a zig-zag stitch to finish the neckband and hems. I like how the zig-zag looks and have never bothered to switch to coverstitch or twin needle. If it ain't broke, don’t fix it!

I’m excited to have a new tee in my wardrobe, and we both plan on wearing these year-round. It’s always a little bit spooky at our house. 🙂

Happy Halloween!
