I’ve got one more Lazo Jumpsuit to share with you this week! I am loving wearing all my new Lazos but this one is particularly special because, well, it’s linen! I love wearing linen because of the texture and the breathability. It also comes in so many gorgeous colours and it feels so effortless and relaxed. Perfect for Lazo!

This is view A of Lazo with no modifications other than lengthening it for my height (I’m 5’9 ½”). I made a size 18 based on my measurements. Linen can tend to get looser as the day goes on, so you can opt to size down half or even a full size if you want it to fit closer to the body. At any rate, linen has a mind of its own and will wrinkle, rumple, and bag out. It just is a part of the deal with this lovely fabric!
This is washed linen from Blackbird Fabrics. I love this fabric and have made so many things using it! It comes in many fun colours and it has a nice, soft hand. It is not crispy like some linens can be. This one feels lived-in right off the bolt. I chose this “dill” colour and it feels very springy and fun.
One thing I love about Lazo is that it can be easily layered. The bodice is not too snug and it fits a t-shirt underneath really well. I think it would fit a button up shirt well, too! Here I am wearing it with a Jackson Tee. This shirt is so well loved, the neckline is a bit sad, but it’s so hard to part with my favourite tees! I still think it looks super cute under this green Lazo.
