I’m back with another Lazo Jumpsuit to share today! This one is my perfect summer day jumpsuit. You know how much I love a good block print and so I had to give my new pattern a try in this gorgeous fabric.

Lazo comes with two leg options, a pants view and a shorts view. I made the shorts view for this little jumpsuit and I love the fit! The shorts are not too short and not too long - juuuust right. It feels so comfortable and easy to wear and I can tell I’m going to be reaching for this all summer long.
I run hot even in the winter so summer dressing can be a bit challenging for me. I want to be comfortable! Lazo is the answer to my problems because it has a super relaxed fit that is optionally cinched with a waist drawstring. I love that I can leave the drawstring loose if I don’t feel like having fabric touching my waist.
This block print fabric (from Blackbird Fabrics) is one of my favourite fabrics ever. It is so nice to press and to sew, and it feels ultra lightweight on my body. It is cotton so it is very breathable, and I love how pretty the prints are!
I am excited to make more summer Lazo Jumpsuits! I’d like to make one in a solid colour, like the ones we made for our models in the photoshoot. Princess’ green one (below) is my personal favourite! I’d also love to make one in a flowy rayon print, too. That would be so nice and breezy!
