Wednesday Weekly #125

Happy Wednesday, makers! March is in full swing now and I don't know about you, but I always get a major rush of sew-jo with the changing seasons. I love getting excited about new fabrics and looking at seasonal trends to get my creative juices flowing. I already have a list a mile long of things to try for spring and summer, and a few pieces completed to share with you this month to get you excited, too! Wednesday Weekly News (clockwise from top left) Handmade by Carolyn released the Perth Dress. In The Folds has a new (and free!) collaboration with Peppermint Magazine, the ruffle sleeve top. Seamwork Magazine released the Kimmy Dress and the Audrey Jacket. Beaute J’adore released an amazing coat pattern. Goheen designs released the Inara Robe. Community Events Handmade by Ditsy Tulip and Atia from @thebrightblooms are hosting A Little Lawn Party! Make a garment to celebrate spring, either through the style of garment, the fabric, the colours, or the print. Share it using the #alittlelawnparty from March 15th - May 15th to be entered to win prizes! Makes Bon Courage made the Rachel Comey for Vogue 1501 and it is stunning! The seam details and scalloped hem of this skirt from Kat Makes are so cool! Bimble and Pimble shares her floaty Collins Top. Wanderstitch goes to Paris and shares her amazing Pulmu Skirt. I love these pants from a Very Purple Person. Handmade by Lara Liz is on a quest to find the perfect activewear and she is reviewing the Avery Leggings this week! Attie and Dora made a beautiful Kalle Shirtdress. This plaid Helmi Tunic from Neeleswift is great. I want this box-pleated dress from Sew Unraveled. Sweet KM blew me away this week with an outfit of handmade neutrals. How cute is this Kew dress from Gingerthread Girl!? A Happy Stitch nailed it with this Cascade Duffle Coat. Made by Rae shares her love for the Blackwood Cardigan (thanks, Rae)! Check out these Esther Pants from Sie Macht Sewing.
