Wednesday Weekly #164

Happy Wednesday! First of all, we want to give a big "thank you" to everyone who supported us during the re-release for the York Pinafore! We feel very lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community. This week saw the release of some great patterns for spring and lots of creative makes from fellow sewists.

News (clockwise from top left)

Itch to Stitch released the Kalispell Dress.

On the Cutting Floor released the Jasper Pants.

The Wearable Studio released the Heidi Day Dress.

Paper Theory patterns re-released the Zadie Jumpsuit in a more inclusive size range (modelled by @fat.bobbin.girl).

Sew Over It released the Isla Dress.

Makes

Simone from Intensely Distracted shared three variations on the York Pinafore, including one with the gathered waist hack. All three are adorable!

Katie Kortman used a custom designed fabric from Spoonflower to create this rashguard swimsuit. She also made a cropped blazer from the same fabric! I didn’t know that I needed a blazer for the beach, but now I definitely do.

Pattern and Branch used some yellow corduroy to make these beautiful Jutland Pants! The Jutland Pants are a pattern designed for men, but Lisa proves that it doesn’t matter as long as you like the pattern.

Sew DIY used a fabric remnant to sew this luxe velvet Nettie Bodysuit!

Tilly from Tilly and the Buttons used their new Eden duffle coat pattern to make this gorgeous lilac and mint creation. The colours were inspired by Aquaria from RuPaul’s Drag Race, so obviously it’s a winning combination.

We are still all about the pastel power suit, and Erica Bunker’s pink confection does not disappoint! The tailoring is just perfect.

This creamy Yari jumpsuit from What Katie Sews is just dreamy!

Trish Stitched used the Hudson Pants and Seamwork Skipper to make this delightful loungewear set. Hanging at home feels so much more luxurious when your loungewear is cute!

Gillian from Crafting a Rainbow contributed to the Cali Fabrics blog with this Adeline Dress for her sister, with a very cool alteration- a hidden buttonhole in one of the patch pockets to accommodate her insulin pump. What a great idea!
