Wednesday Weekly #56

Hellllooooo, makers! Get ready for ALOT of inspiration this week on the Wednesday Weekly, you guys have been busy! I often find it so hard to narrow down my selections for the showcase, and this week I just couldn't leave anything out. My pre-travel stress has set in (leaving for Camp Workroom Social tomorrow morning!!), so I've been trying to figure out what to bring. Highs of 22 degrees celsius in the city, lows of 0 degrees at camp = impossible to pack for! I'm looking forward to the moment when I finally get on that plane and can stop re-thinking my travel wardrobe. Does anyone else suffer from this stress? This tweed patchwork Jade skirt is blowing my mind. Check out this cool black and white shift dress from Ida Aida Sewing. The Rosari skirt really is perfect for fall, especially in a lux tapestry-esque fabric like this one from Trish Stitched. Did you guys see this Dove dress hack on Megan Nielsen? Oh my... A very chic black wrap skirt from Looks Like I Made It. I am mad about this burgundy jumpsuit from Creating in the Gap. This lime green turtleneck dress from Secondo Piano is a showstopper. I can’t get over this Flora dress from Jasika Nicole. It’s sooooo stunning! Resources The Curvy Sewing Collective showcased the best leggings for a plus sized figure. A great video on installing a fly-front zip from Sew Over It. Some tips on sewing perfect collars from We All Sew. Inspiration I have been itching to make another denim refashion, and had been sketching out a patchwork bag of some sort to maximize fabric scraps.
