We're back with another Avery Leggings hack today! Today I want to show you how you can add mesh panels or sew color blocked leggings. It's a great way to customize the look of your Avery leggings. Mesh can also add breathability which is great, too!
This hack will walk you through how to add a power mesh panel to the lower leg like we have done here. The steps can be applied to pretty much any mesh panel placement, so you don't have to do what we did! We also have more ideas of color blocking and mesh panels at the end of the post.

How to add a mesh panel to your leggings:
- Cut a panel out of your leggings pattern. Add seam allowance to the cut edges.
- When cutting your fabric, cut the panel from power mesh or contrasting fabric, and the other pieces from your main fabric.
- Place the upper leg and contrast panel right sides together, and sew with a stretch stitch. Repeat for the lower leg.
- Topstitch the seam allowances away from the mesh panel.
- Sew the rest of the leggings as normal.
