Inspiration
Marilla Walker shared some interesting thoughts on the zero waste sewing method and created this stunning zero-waste dress and some amazing hand-made buttons. This technique is so interesting, but so foreign to me having always used a pattern. I do agree, though, that the pattern layouts provided always leave me with so much waste. It is challenging to find projects that I want to make that only require ¾ meter or less. I also wouldn't want to buy way more fabric just to have less of it go to waste in the cutting process. Would you try a zero-waste project?
