Wednesday Weekly #74

Helloooooo, Makers! What a crazy week it has been! I released my second garment pattern this week, the Blackwood Cardigan, which makes today a very exciting day because I get to include it in the roundup of new patterns! I had a VERY stressful weekend because my website was having technical difficulties in the middle of my trying to get the pattern out. I was freaking out about expectations and professionalism and honestly feeling pretty defeated. Thankfully, that is all in the past and I pushed through! Many of you managed to purchase the new pattern on Monday despite my website being THE SLOWEST SITE EVER, to which I am so grateful. For anyone who had issues with the site I apologize! The response to the new pattern has been amazing, thank you all so much!! News (clockwise from top left) Style Arc released the Lux Coat. Helen’s Closet (that’s me! :) ) released the Blackwood Cardigan, a layering wardrobe staple for all seasons. Kommatia Patterns released a Boxy Hoodie Sweatshirt pattern. Makes I have so many Larks in my collection, and this post from Sew Wrong made me want to make even more! Two lovely tops from Skirt Fixation. These white Morgan Jeans from Sew Pomona are perfect. How cool is this wrap Nettie bodysuit hack from Self Assembly Required? A great floral dress form Sewionista, and paired with that biker jacket it is awesome! Maggie Elaine made the most beautiful Diana Ross inspired tunic dress. I am dying to make some high waisted pleated trousers! Check out this pink pair from Jasika Nicole. Jenny is a little unsure about her new Adeline dress, but I think it looks smashing! These camel coloured Ginger jeans from Tweed and Greet are great. Resources Melly Sews shows us how to hem knits.
