Our June Shorts and Pants pattern is perfect for making PJs! The petal shorts view is especially ideal because it offers a regular shorts view as well as a petal shorts view. Today’s PJ set features the petal shorts option!
The June petal shorts were designed so they can be overlapped towards the front or the back. Both ways look really cute and today I want to showcase a pair with the overlap towards the front.
This PJ set was made in a fun party rayon crepe and features a contrast binding and drawstring made out of red viscose linen noil. These fabrics play well together and the bright red binding really pops! I chose our Lawrence Top for the matching PJ top, but it totally works as an everyday top too.
If you are looking for a top that features binding to match the binding on June, look no further than our free Orchard Top! We used that one in our photoshoot for June.
The petal shorts view of June is so comfy! It moves with your legs and never feels tight or restrictive. It’s great for sleeping but also works really well for activities like biking, hiking, and beach activities. I’d love to try a board shorts pair!
It’s fun to have a matching PJ set. I really enjoy lounging in my me-mades so having cool outfits to wear around the house is a total win for me. Bonus that both of these pieces would work as separates and could be worn outside too!
